
29th September 2015, at least 30 al-Nusra Front militants were killed in mop-up operations launched by the Syrian army across the country and especially in the embattled northeastern province of Aleppo.
Syrian government soldiers raided the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front militant’s hideouts in the villages of Sheikh Lotfi, Koyres, Rasm al-Abd and Arbid as well areas near the Aleppo International Airport on Tuesday.
According to reports by Syria’s official news agency SANA, several pickup trucks belonging to the al-Qaeda-linked Takfiris, Nusra Front were loaded with heavy machine guns mounted on them plus considerable ammunitions were all destroyed during the offensives.
The government army troopers also targeted militant’s bases in the Bastan al-Basha, Bustan al-Qasr, Karm al-Maysar, Bani Zayd and New Aleppo as well as neighborhoods of Aleppo situated about 355 kilometers north of the capital, Damascus.
