Kenya Police (National Police Service-Anti-Terror Wing ATPU) has captured 3 terrorists en-route Kenya at Namamga border crossing point.
The 3 suspects were on the terror-watch-list and were entering the country to conduct attacks against civilian targets.
They were coming from the Tanzanian side and as they attempted to make it across to Kenya, Anti-Terror Police Unit agents arrested them.
Intelligence shows Al-Shabaab wants to capitalize on the current political situation in Kenya to conduct a major attack with the objective of embarrassing the security agencies.
