
The three terror suspects identified as granted Mr Jamaa Ahmed Muhumed, Mr Mohamed Halil Hassan and Mr Ahmed Hiloble Alie are linked to heinous acts of terrorism in Pandanguo, Lamu County in which two people perished. The assailants also torched their houses.
Prosecution had asked the court to deny them bond citing the three were a security threat and once on bond they might abscond court.
The three through their lawyer pleaded that they will comply with any order the court will issue as investigation continues and consequently the bond was granted.
The terror suspects as told to the court attacked Kaisari village in Pandanguo whereby they killed Mr Japhet Shethi, Mr Joel Wachira and Mr Julius Mwaura Ngugi in January last year (2015) after which they torched their houses.
During the attack several other people were injured. Following the raid, police launched manhunt operation and the three were arrested in Mpeketoni area.
The court mention of the case will be on September 6, 2016.
