Three suspects of Garissa university attack were found to have links with the 2015 attack that left at least 148 innocent lives dead.
A Nairobi Chief Magistrate, found Mohamed Ali Abdikar, Hassan Aden Hassan and Rashid Charles Mberesero, a Tanzanian guilty of the charges.
However, one terror suspect identified as Sahal Diry Hussein was freed as there was no evidence that linked him to the but only that he was found in the company of one of the attackers.
The Nairobi court will sentence the three on July 3. The trio convictions after a long-running investigation and prosecution.
All four Al-Shabaab gunmen involved in the attack were killed by security forces. The mastermind of the attack, Mohamed Mohamud, also known as Muhamed Kuno Gamadheere alias Dulyadeen was killed by Jubaland forces after they carried out a special operation on Wednesday, 1st of June 2016 in Farwamo village near Bulogudud, 30km north of Kismayo
