Al-Qaeda branch in Somalia, Harakat Al-Shabaab Al-Mujahideen movement (HSM) publicly executed a 27 year old Tanzanian jihadist identified as Issa James Mawaysahga, after confessing espionage and plans to desert the movement at their headquarters in Jiliib Southern Somalia.
Barely 24 hours after the early morning execution, 3 Somali National Intelligence Agency officers were assasinated in the capital Mogadishu by suspected Al-Shabaab Amniyaat assasins.
These events depict significant setbacks in a CIA-NISA deep-cover espionage structure.
“The assasination of an intelligence agent or officer is never coincidental, its purposed. This of course means Issa James Mawaysahga gave away names and locations of his handlers. It means he compromised them by giving away their names, telephone numbers, and locations.”

They colaborate with Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, and Djibouti intelligence services in a joint counter terrorism effort.
The Al-Shabaab has not laid claims to the assasination.
