MOGADISHU, Somalia, March 7, 2016
Reports from Somalia indicate that at least three civilians perished after multi blasts rocked Bardheere town in Gedo region, southern Somalia.
Corresponding reports from residents say that the multiple explosions occurred along the main road leading to strategic town of Bardheere, three innocent civilians were killed and several others sustained injuries.
According to a military source in Somalia the IEDs were planted on the roadside were targeting SNA and Ethiopian troops who often use the road.
Ethiopian troops are battling Al-Shabaab militants under African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM). Other troops contributing countries include Kenya, Uganda, Burundi and Djibouti.
