The United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) in a statement said that 210 child soldiers have been released by Armed Rebel Groups.
This brings the total number of child soldiers released this year to be at 806 as per UN statistics.
More child soldiers are expected to be released in the coming months.
202 of the soldiers are from the armed opposition faction (SPLM-IO) while 8 are from Salvation Front.
The UN estimates that 1000 child soldiers may be released by the end of year.
It is estimated that there is at least 19,000 child soldiers in South Sudan.
