At least sixteen Taliban terrorists were killed in their own explosion caused by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in southeastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan.
According to the provincial Police Commandment in a statement, the incident took place in the vicinity of the restive Qarabagh district.
The statement further added that the Taliban terror operatives were manufacturing IEDs in a safe-house in Moshaki area of the district when the explosion happened.
At least sixteen improvised explosive devices prepared for future attacks were also destroyed in the explosion, the provincial government confirmed.
Humiliated anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban terrorists have not commented regarding the incident.
