At least 15 Taliban militants including a number of their commanders were killed in deadly own premature improvised explosive device (IED) in Afghan province of Kunduz.
According to Afghan Ministry of Interior in a statement, eleven Taliban fighters including their four commanders were killed in the IED explosion.
The statement further added that six other Taliban group members also sustained injuries in the explosion.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the incident took place in Jaga Aaraq Qazaq area of Qala-e-Zal district on Sunday as the militants were busy planting an Improvised Explosive device.
The humiliated anti-government armed militant groups including Taliban have not commented regarding the incident.
