Monday 20/2/2017, Turkish air raids have neutralized at least 11 PKK terrorists in northern Iraq.
The air raids targeted terrorist’s hideouts/caves in Iraq’s Zap region following intelligence that terrorists were found at the mouth of a cave.
More than 1,200 people, including security force personnel and civilians, have lost their lives since the PKK — listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and EU — resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July 2015.
Over 7,000 PKK terrorists have also been neutralized in the counter-operations.
