1,000 ISIL Terrorists Killed in Mosul Battle

Around 1,000 ISIL terrorists have been killed in Mosul’s Old City in less than two months.

According to Iraqi Police Commander Raed Jawdat, Iraqi forces have destroyed scores of ISIL car-bombs and rockets during the fighting.

The battle of Mosul has also seen several soldiers martyred in the line on duty.

Since October, the Iraqi forces, backed by a U.S.-led air coalition, have been trying to dislodge ISIL terrorists from Mosul, the extremist group’s last stronghold in northern Iraq.
