Puntland Security Forces (PSF) raided and destroyed Al-Shabaab base used for training and logistics in Galgala Mountains.
PSF raid saw 18 extremists killed and three others captured alive while dozens others fled with injuries.
The intelligence led operation saw a key Al-Shabaab command and supply base completely ran down and assortment of ammunitions and goods recovered.
In the past few weeks, Puntland forces have stepped up their battle against Al-Shabaab extremists in the Galgala Mountains.
In the Facebook post, PSF vowed to continue operations against the extremists.
