Police Launch Hunt Down Accomplices of Al-Shabaab Combatant Killed in Bamburi

Anti-terrorism detectives (ATPU) reportedly launched a hunt down of accomplices of the Al-Shabaab combatant killed in Bamburi, Mombasa.

Police sources indicate that the ATPU detectives are pursuing three accomplices of the wanted terror combatant who was felled on Friday in Bamburi, county of Mombasa.

Police sources further reports that Babley engaged security forces in a shootout from his hideout in Bamburi before he was overpowered neutralized.
Police says Babley is an Al Shabaab member who has been on the run since 2015 has been pivotal in Al-Shabaab planning and operations in Boni. He is responsible for killing of innocent Kenyans in Mwalei, Milihoi and Pandanguo.

He is also responsible for terror attacks in 2016 that targeted security forces in in Mombasa County.

Babley is brother to another terrorist who is also on the run by the name Dogo operating from Boni forest.

Police reports confirmed that three of Babley accomplices escaped during the operation mounted by a special unit of ATPU detectives.
