10 ISIS Terrorists Killed, Scores Wounded & IEDs Seized in Afghan Forces CT-Operations

At least ten terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group were killed and scores wounded during counter terror-operations by the Afghan security forces in eastern Nangarhar province.

According to the provincial government media office in a statement, the CT-operations were conducted in the vicinity of Khogyani district.

The statement further added that three ISIS terrorists were killed and several others were wounded during the operations.

During the raid several villages also have been cleared from the presence of the ISIS terrorists as operations are still being conducted in some restive parts of the province.

The Afghan security forces also seized six Improvised Explosive Devices during the operations together with a communication device set, the statement added.

Humiliated anti-government armed terrorists groups including the ISIS terror group have not commented regarding the report so far.

Nangarhar is among the relatively calm provinces however the Taliban and ISIS terrorists have increased their insurgency activities in some of its remote parts in the recent years.
