Turkish F-16 fighter jets on Sunday pounded and destroyed 17 Daesh targets in northern Syria as part of the ongoing Operation Euphrates Shield.
According to Turkish military, the air sorties started early Sunday afternoon striking 17 Daesh terrorists targets and reportedly killing several militants.
Terrorist targets were located in the towns of Qabasin and Suflaniyah northeast of the city of Al-Bab in northern Syria.
Turkey's Operation Euphrates Shield was launched in late August to rid the northern Syrian border area of terrorists.
Operation Euphrates Shield has around 1,760 square kilometers (680 square miles) of land in northern Syria have been cleared of Daesh terrorists.
