South Sudan crisis and failed talks to bring back peace and stability in the war-torn country worsened following their decision to pass a law regulating foreign aid workers.
South Sudan which has experienced close to 17 months of war has approximately 12 million people who are in dire need of help.
The intensifying war was as a result of President Salva Kiir’s decision to remove former vice-president turned rebel leader Riek Machar from his position as vice-president since June 2013.
This was followed by the massacre of thousands of Nuer civilians, six months later thus the hunger for the rebels to capture Juba and overthrow the government of President Salva Kiir.

So far, Ugandan troops have tried to intervene in the South Sudan crisis in vain. America has on the other hand threatened not to recognize the new government if it takes over power by force.
The passed NGO bill which is yet to be signed by the president threatens to hinder foreign aid’s ability to serve South Sudanese at a time when the country is experiencing conflict.
Sources have confirmed to Intelligence briefs that Foreign aid workers are greatly experiencing catastrophic humanitarian situation amid the ongoing conflict.
South Sudan, world’s youngest nation after it gained independence from Sudan in 2011 is now under threat of a possible coup under the leadership of rebel leader Riek Machar.
