Troops of Nigerian Army arrested a man said to be a supplier of fuel and food to Boko Haram at Daban Shata in Borno State.
Director, Nigeria Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade said that the military intelligence picked up the man who had been on the run from security.
Olukolade also confirmed that the Sunday raid also culminated in the rescue of an additional 260 women and children near Chalawa Village in Adamawa State.
Nigerian army troops had rescued 293 women and girls on Tuesday and another 160 women and children on Wednesday.

According to the spokesman of the Nigerian army, the women and children were rescued and taken back to their communities in Madagali Local Government Area after being profiled.
Olukolade said that the troops also killed several of the Boko Haram terrorists in the ensuing gun battle to recover the abducted women and children.
The Islamist group has kidnapped thousands of girls, women and young men.
According to a new Amnesty International report, Boko Haram had kidnapped at least 2,000 girls and women since the beginning of 2014.
Many of Boko Haram’s abduction victims have been trained to fight and forced into sexual slavery.
