Shisia called on residents to collaborate with security agents in stemming and averting incidents of terrorism.

The administrator also assured travellers to the NEP Mandera County of adequate security reiterating of adequate measure being put in place.
Shisia implored the residents to be reporting terror incidents and sympathizers to senior security agents who will take necessary action in an effort to curb attacks.
The militants wage sporadic attacks in Kenya as retaliatory as the country has contributed its soldier’s under Africa Union Peacekeeping Mission (AMISOM) battling the Al Qaeda affiliated Islamist group.
