United States Secretary of State John Kerry has said that terrorists have no future, citing some of the activities by the terrorists that aimed to create doom in the word but which failed terribly.
John Kerry cited the 1998 United States embassy bombings by the al Qaeda and how they ended up strengthening the relations of Kenya with the United States, where the terrorist group had intended discord.
Al Shabaab have also targeted Kenya in many other instances especially with an aim to bring about enmity between Christians and Muslims but only ending up disappointed by the outcomes.
In the Westgate attack the terrorists singled out and murdered Christians and spared the Muslims. They intended bitterness between the two religions, resentful approaches and total discord.
The turn of events was however a shocking bunch of news for the terrorists. Christians and Muslims embraced one another with an affinity, as riveting as could be imagined.
