Gulmurod Khalimov who was a former Tajik military officer now is linked to the dreaded Islamic State terrorist group.
Khalimov has been punt on most wanted list by the U.S. as being one of the top ISIS recruiter.
U.S. has put a bounty reward offer of $3 million to information that will help in his apprehension.
Khalimov, 41, was former Tajik Special Forces Colonel highly trained in the U.S. and Russia.
According to western intelligence reports, Khalimov is now the chief of the armed units and in charge of military operations for ISIS.
After an airstrike killed Islamic State’s Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, Khalimov was elevated to serve as second in command to the overall Islamic State leader and Amir, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Analysts say the Tajik commander’s role increasingly visible beyond Syria and Iraq citing his capabilities and trainings.
