David Hugh Marx, a naval petty officer has been arrested after murdering his wife Mary Lou Marx.
Mary Lou was stabbed to death with a pen by the 43-year old naval soldier. Mary, a 51-year old woman was married to David and they had a son.
According to the police Mary Lou was killed at home where her dead body was found.
Police had to force their way into the house since the house was locked
She was stabbed on the nose and the chest with a sharp pen causing bleeding and subsequent death.
Their 12-year son was in the house when the police found the dead body of Mary Lou.
He has been since then been taken into custody by Louisiana Department of Child and Family Services.
The arrest of David Hugh Marx will serve justice for the slain woman, an offer was quoted saying.
Hugh Marx is a Navy chief petty officer stationed in Virginia.
