The survivors of Boko Haram have also claimed that the terrorist organization is weakening and facing internal disputes.
The survivors explained that, recently, the Boko Haram fighters were desperately trying to sell them as slaves, an indication that the group might be running out of funds.
They explained that their captors had told them that their leader was nolonger giving them enough fuel and guns, adding that the Nigerian troops were encroaching them in Sambisa forest.
The captors were threatening to leave their captives for lack of funds and their own security.
The Nigerian government believes Boko Haram is now retreating.
Almost 700 women have been freed by the group but there is still no sign or information on the whereabouts of the 200 schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram last year.
