2015 Milken Institute Global Conference to be held in Los Angeles shall be attended by key leaders among them President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kenyatta’s official one-week visit to the United States of America is for the purpose of attending the four-day 2015 Milken Institute Global Conference which will focus on exploring solutions to challenges in financial markets, industry, health, government and education.
The Milken Institute is a non-profit making annual forum which focuses on global and regional economies, human capital, demographics and capital markets.
2015 Milken Institute Global Conference shall help Kenya increase her global empowerment in creation of employment, improve health through data-driven research and innovate policy initiatives.
During the visit, Kenyatta will highlight Kenya as the fastest growing economic hub which places it as an attractive destination for foreign investment. He will also have the opportunity to network with major investors with whom he is to create economic ties with.
Kenya’s booming infrastructure in its telecommunication, energy, transport and other infrastructure are set to be the main focus in private investment since expansion in these sectors through partnership and foreign investment shall boost the country’s economy.
Kenyans in the Diaspora shall also have the opportunity to look into investing back home during the President’s Los Angeles visit for the 2015 Milken Institute Global Conference.
