KAMPALA, Uganda — Ugandan intelligence have confirmed that the Allied Democratic Forces ADF terrorist group killed two Uganda Muslim clerics days apart.
Uganda police report that the Muslim clerics were killed by the extremist group for refusing to cooperate with the Allied Democratic Forces, a Uganda extremist group based in the border regions of Uganda and Congo.
Sheikh Abdu Kadir Muwaya and Sheikh Mustafa Bahiiga were separately shot dead by men riding on motorcycles.
Sheikh Abdu Kadir Muwaya, was the head of the Shia Muslim Community in Uganda.
He was killed on Dec. 23 at his home in Mayuge, about 74 miles east of Kampala.
