Police officer Charles Kondek was shot dead by a gunman in Tarpon Springs, Fla early Sunday authorities report.
Charles Kondek was killed at 3 a.m. in the Tampa Bay-area city.
Charles Kondek is 17-year veteran who previously worked for the New York Police Department.
He leaves behind 5 children.
