26 Militants were killed in Bakol Sunday and Monday (June 8th-9th) after African Union Soldiers and Somali national army attacked their positions.
Authorities confirm that there were heavy causalities but the actual figures are yet to be confirmed, Bokol Governor Mohamed Abdi Tool reported.
Al-Shabaab had launched an attack on villages and AMISOM troops and the Somali army were deployed to the area leading to a fierce fighting.
