A teen who plunged into a river to save a friend has been found dead after he drowned, police report.
Jason K. Moran died of drowning in Blue River and his body was found on Sunday by rescue workers
Jason K. Moran, 17, jumped into the Blue River to rescue a friend, Sarah May McLevish, 16.
The girl McLevish drowned in the river on Friday.
Three other teens Michael Chadbourne, 16; Trent Crabb, 17; and Mark Naley, 18 also jumped into the water to help McLevish.
Jason Moran’s body was found just after 10 a.m. at the base of the Edinburgh Dam where Sarah May McLevish had drowned.
Sarah McLevish and Michael Chadbourne are in critical condition at a local hospital.
Trent Crabb and Mark Naley checked out by EMS but had no injuries
