Kenya has deployed special wildlife security troops to all national parks, game reserves and tourist attractions across the country to thwart threats on wildlife and tourism.
Increased poaching and the crushing of the tourism industry in the country has forced the country to rethink its strategy.
According to Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Water and Natural Resources Richard Lesiyampe, all game reserves and tourist attraction areas in the country have been secured to thwart terror attacks and poaching.
The force will secure conservancies that have endangered species of wildlife will also benefit from the new security strategy.
