Rebels in Ukraine have today downed two Ukraine army helicopters in Slovyansk, a conflict zone currently under separatists grip.
Intelligence sources confirmed that two Ukraine military helicopters were conducting an operation in the city when pro-Russian rebels shot them down on Friday, 2end of May.
Two crew were killed in the incident.
Ukraine troops have attempted to tighten their siege of separatist held Slovyansk but are wary of a further push after Kremlin warned them of launching criminal assault on Russian speaking civilians in the 130,000 people Slovyansk.
