Russian airforce SU-24 Bomber made 12 low fly by the guided missile navvy destroyer USS Donald Cook as another watched from a distance, intelligence officials have confirmed.

US Pentagon spokesman Col. Steve Warren termed the Russian military maneuver as a reckless, unprofessional act that violates international protocols and Russian-American military collaboration agreements.
Pentagon referred the several close-range passes by the Russian SU 24 air superiority fighter aircraft as provocative and extremely aggressive.
The aircraft did not have any towed missile attached to it nor did it make maneuvers meant to provoke a military response of equivalent nature.
