Afghan security forces killed at least 12 Taliban terrorists including Mullah Rahmat, one of the local commanders of the group in Farah and wounded scores in the raid.
According to a report from the Police Headquarters of Farah, Afghan Air Force conducted airstrikes in Posht Koh district of Farah which killed 9 Taliban operatives. The airstrikes also wounded 3 terror operatives.
Additionally, the security repulsed a Taliban attack in Shiwan Village of Posht Koh district killing commander Mullah Rahmat and his two comrades.
The Taliban group has not commented on this regard.
