The Afghan Special Forces killed 24 Taliban militants during an operation in Ghormach district of Faryab province.
Afghan military sources on Thursday confirmed that the Special Forces also wounded 2 Taliban fighters in the operation.
The Special Forces also destroyed a small cache of weapons and improvised explosive device during the same operation.
The Afghan Special Forces also destroyed 2 improvised explosive devices, several pressure plates and a small cache of explosives in Kunduz province.
