The U.S. Air Force has deployed F-15E Strike Eagle fighters assigned to 494th Fighter Squadron to Turkey.
U.S. Airmen, F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft, and support equipment from the 494th Fighter Squadron have already arrived at Turkish Third Main Jet Base, Konya, Turkey.
Defense news released by U.S. Air Force show that, Strike Eagle fighters were deployed to Turkey to participate in exercise Anatolian Eagle 19 together with Turkish and other allied and partner air forces.
The training to focus on improving preparedness and interoperability among participating air units. This kind of exercise enhance allies and partners ability to respond more effectively to regional crises and meet their own security needs.
The multinational training also proves U.S. commitment to collective defense and regional security.
Anatolian Eagle is taking place at an air base in Konya.
