Afghanistan’s troops have said that their airstrikes killed at least 10 Taliban terrorists in a hideout of the group in Jalriz district of eastern Afghanistan’s Wardak province.
The airstrikes are conducted following credible intelligence that revealed an instrumental commander of the group in the area was hiding Tandara village of Jalriz district. According to military sources of the 10 militants killed was a Taliban commander Mullah Majid alias Kuchi.
Separately, Afghan security forces during clearance operations in Kohistanat district of northern Sari Pul province killed 16 insurgents including Abdul Bashir the commander of the so-called Red Unit Force of the militant group.
