Al-Qaeda terrorist group suffered another huge blow after one Zakir Musa, a charismatic jihadist leader linked to the terror group was killed in Kashmir, according to multiple open source reports.
Indian forces report that they surrounded Musa in a village in South Kashmir and eventually killing him after a fierce firefight after he refused to surrender.
According the Indian military reports, Musa had been one of India’s most wanted terrorists, as he attempted to fuse a popular discontent with Al Qaeda-style jihadism.
On Twitter platform, the Jammu and Kashmir Police praised Musa’s death as “a major success against terrorism and a huge blow to the Al-Qaeda terrorist group.
Indian Police reports indicate that Musa had been active for about six years since 2013 and was involved in number of terrorist activities.

During the raid Musa had rocket, grenade launchers, projectiles, huge ammunition and war like stores in his possession, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said.
Musa was jihadi leader of Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH), an Al-Qaeda linked terror outfit that was established in 2017. His death comes at a time when upstart groups, such as AGH, are attempting to reboot the jihad in Kashmir.
