Members of the Red Unit of Taliban terrorist group among the terror operatives killed along with several others in counterterrorism operations in Badghis and Uruzgan provinces.
According to the Afghan military sources, several other terror militants were also wounded during the same operations.
The military sources further added that Afghan Special Forces conducted a raid in Badghis province killing 10 Taliban terror operatives and wounding 17 others.
Taliban Red Unit militants alongside 12 other Taliban terror operatives were killed by multiple airstrikes conducted in Tarin Kot city of Uruzgan province, the sources added.
Although Taliban fighters are present in Uruzgan, their numbers have dwindled because of recent friendly forces offensive engagements. Last week more than 20 Taliban fighters were killed in the region and the commandos also destroyed multiple Taliban operations centers.
