Syrian Army has announced killing over 270 ISIS terrorists in an offensive in Syrian Al-Suwayda province. Russian Defence Ministry reported that the Syrian Army has killed over 270 Daesh terrorists and seized a huge stockpile of foreign weapons, including 12 TOW missiles, during an offensive in Syrian’s Al-Suwayda province.
Further reports revealed that the killed militants had previously fled an area called At-Tanf where a US military base is located and where the US troops have been conducting operations against the Daesh.
The operation is not the first in the said region as Syrian government forces managed to liberate 1,300 square kilometers (500 square miles) of the country’s territory from terrorists in Al Suwayda province.
