At least seven militants were killed or wounded during a clash between the Afghan forces and the anti-government armed militants in northern Faryab province of Afghanistan. The battle happened in Sangi Zard village, Pashtun Kot district of the Faryab province in the late hours of the night.
The militants are believed to belong to a terror unit under the leadership of the infamous Taliban leader called Hamidullah who is also famous as Tilani. Following the attack, the militants fled and retreated after the fierce battles with the Afghan Commandos
Faryab is among the relatively volatile provinces in North of Afghanistan where the Taliban militants are active in some of its districts and often carry out terrorist-related activities.
