A Canada-based based company PGW Defense Technologies confirmed delivery of the newest LRT-3 sniper rifles to Ukraine for a contract worth $770,000.
In an interview with A Ukrainian media outlet, UATV, Ross Spagrud, who is the owner of Winnipeg-based PGW Defense Technologies confirmed that the company will deliver LRT-3 50-cal BMG bolt action rifle to Ukraine following 3-4 months of contract negations.
According to Spagrud, the cost covers the delivery of LRT-3 sniper rifles, .50 caliber, some post-sales support, maintenance and training. He noted the rifles could be ready for delivery to Ukraine in Autumn.

The new LRT-3 sniper rifle is designed for counter-terror operations in urban and jungle environments.
It a flexible rifle that can be folded and easily carried in a motorcycle pannier and infiltrated inconspicuously into the target area.
