Military troops and vigilante groups of the Adamawa have repelled an attack by Boko Haram on Kaya village, Madagali local Government Area of the State.
By the time the soldiers repelled them, Boko Haram had burned down 14 houses but luckily no civilian was harmed.
According to Adanawa State Commissioner of Information Ahmad Sajoh, one Boko Haram was killed and one vigilante member wounded.
As much as the military has reduced Boko Haram activities in Adamawa, Madagali is still at risk of attacks.
These attacks have led to the loss of lives and destruction of properties with the terrorists believed to be looking for food items. More operations are expected to be conducted to prevent Boko Haram attacks.
