Kenya’s Anti-terrorism police have launched a manhunt for two dangerous al Shabaab returnees who may be directly linked to planned attacks in Kenya especially in the month of Ramadhan. The al Shabaab operatives have been identified as Salim Aboud Sultri and Ramadhan Rai Tsungu aka Rambo.
Salim Aboud Sultri is believed to have been hiding at Mlango wa Papa Mosque in Old Town, Mombasa until recently when he disappeared on learning police were hunting him down. Sultri has been working with Rambo for the entire time he has been hiding Mombasa and they have both disappeared.
Intelligence reports indicate that both suspects are headed back to Somalia as vigilance has been enhanced and roadblocks on all likely routes. Additionally, the police have asked members of the public to report any citing of the two while at the same time exercise caution as the two combatants are armed and dangerous.
