Three militants linked to the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were sentenced to death by an anti-terrorism court (ATC).
According to police report, the assailants were involved in a suicide bomb attack that claimed the lives of at least four people including Inspector Shafiq Tanoli.
The terror operatives identified as Nadeem Khan, Abid Ali and Noorul Rasheed were found guilty by the ATC of masterminding the suicide attack.
The perpetrators were convicted and awarded capital punishment on four counts for their heinous involvement.
