Turkish military managed to kill 15 fighters of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in eastern Turkey on Tueday, the Turkish Interior Ministry.
Twelve were killed in the eastern part of the Kars Province and the remaining three combatants were killed in the Siirt Province.
The Turkish military has conducted several operations against the PKK and their affiliates in southeast Turkey, northern Iraq, and northern Syria this year, with the primary focus being the group’s sleeper cells.
