Four men have been arrested in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and Chesterfield, Derbyshire for plotting a terror attack. The four were detained by the North-East Counterterrorism unit and are aged 22, 41, 36, and 31.
A police spokesman said: “The arrests were intelligence-led and pre-planned as part of an ongoing investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing North East.” The police have asked the people to remain alert but not alarmed but also remain vigilant in reporting any unusual activity.
