Puntland coast guards have reportedly captured a boat that was loaded with assortment of weaponry, including heavy and light guns and several boxes of ammunition.
The coast guards following on intelligence intercepted the boat at Maroor residential location which is located about 9 kilometers west of the sea-port Town of Bosaso.
According to Puntland coast guards officer, Major Mohamed Mohamud Hassan’ that they are investigating where these weapons were heading by interrogating the sailors on-board where they are from and their destination.
The sailors are believed to be Yemenis and embarked from the coasts of Yemen.
