Somalis President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo on Thursday 6/4/2017 reshuffled top security chiefs of Somalia and declared war on Islamist terrorist group, Al-Shabaab.
Farmajo in military fatigue officially declared an all-out War on Al-Shabaab though he gave them a 60 day ultimatum to surrender and get amnesty.
The President said he was extending amnesty to Al-Shabaab fighters to surrender noting they will be integrated back into the society.
Farmaajo today appointed NISA chief, military commander and police chief as well as Mogadishu Mayor.
Farmaajo announcement came Thursday a day after a car bomb and mortar shells claimed six lives and injured 14 others in Mogadishu restaurant attack.
