Unknown armed gunmen on Tuesday evening opened fire at a Somali military vehicle in Mogadishu whereby four officers were injured in the drive shoot-out.
The raid happened at El Tusbahle area after the armed gunmen believed to be Al-Shabaab assassins opened fire from a car targeting a van carrying senior SNA officers heading to the country’s defense ministry Headquarters.
Among the injured officers included General Mustaf who is the head of SNA, army training. The officers also responded to the shooting forcing the perpetrators to speed off.
No group has yet claimed credit for the shooting of the senior military officers in the capital.
