Islamic State terrorist group suffered a huge blow after the group’s chief decapitator was also knifed to death by unknown assailants in Western Mosul.
According to security sources, unknown armed group on Sunaday killed the Islamic State’s most famous decapitator nicknamed Abu Sayyaf.
Reports by Alsumaria News indicate that armed group ambushed Sayyaf at al-Dawasa region in western side of the city stabbing several times. Sayyaf died immediately.
Abu Sayyaf was the leading decapitator in the group’s so-called “Nineveh State Alsumaria News further reported. He reportedly had beheaded about 100 violators of the Islamic State terrorist group.
The killing of Abu Sayyaf is a huge blow to the terror group after another group’s dreaded decapitator ‘Jihadi John’ was killed.
Several assassinations and kidnappings of Islamic State leaderships have been reported since the Iraqi government launched a major offensive in October to retake the city of Mosul, the extremist group’s biggest stronghold in Iraq.
However, more than 3,300 Islamic State operatives have been killed in security operations backed by US-led coalition. Several others have been dislodged out of the eastern side of the city on January 24, as the joint forces press on with operations to completely free Mosul.
