Military Intelligence reports from Somalia indicate that Al-Shabaab terrorist group suffered a huge blow Saturday midday after its fighter laid ambush on KDF soldiers who responded with gunfire.
The Al-Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab attempted attack on Kenya Defence Force — KDF convoy at Busar near the border town of El Wak in Gedo region of southern Somalia backfired.
The area is believed to be a danger zone and an Al-Shabaab stronghold locality thus the soldiers were on alert for any eventuality.
