Turkish Ministry of Interior has confirmed to have detained a total of 568 arrested across the country in anti-terror swoop.
Anti-terror operations which began on Monday have been carried out in 28 provinces.
Suspects including members of the opposition Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), who had allegedly involved in activities organized by PKK terrorist group to spread propaganda on its behalf also arrested in the anti-terror swoop.
According to Interior Ministry, the suspects included HDP officials from Adana, Balikkesir, Sanliurfa, Mersin, MAnisa, Eskisehir and Gaziantep.
Turkish government has repeatedly accused the HDP of having links to the PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and EU.
